My First Taste
What's up guys? So, yall probably forgot I was even on this site haha, sorry about that. My first taste of the Major Leagues has been everything I imagined plus more. Its the best of the best, and there is no other place to be. Before I got here, I never really understood why or how it was so hard for players to get sent down from AAA once they have been in the big leagues for a while. All I knew was AAA, and that's the best of the minors. The things that change in the big leagues aren't so much the game (I actually think its very similar to AAA, just everything being a little sharper), but its the little things such as better travel, better fields, better hotels that make it so much different. Everything is more conducive to the player being successful here. I'm having a blast, and when we start winning like we can, it's going to be even more fun. Later guys

Also, I can't wait to see when you can actually show off your outfield arm! Glad you are finally up with the big club! What is the clubhouse atmosphere like?

Congrats on making it to the big leagues :)
I was always reading the newspaper over the summer about spring training hoping you would make the Reds roster, and im so excited it finally happened. I've always been a huge fan. My dad is the score keeper for the Dayton Dragons, So I've been cheerin for you since then. I was visiting my grandparents in Sarasota last summer, and attended a game when you were playing in Sarasota. I finally talked my dad into driving to Louisville for a Bats game. But a couple days after i found out you were getting the call up, so i never got yo make it.
Best of luck in the future,
keep up the great work!

i'm your biggest fan!!! i'm 12 and i live in wv. i watch the game pretty much every night. if you read this comment think about what i'm about to say. "dont just think about home runs or swinging at everything, think about your contact with the ball. when the ball comes just think that your doing this for someone that you care about. really focus on the bat and the ball." when you read this say something in public in a few places about the 12 year old girl from wv that cares! it would really mean a lot to me because i have yet to be able to go to a reds game. just remember the nice guys always win, remain sweet. i'm a lot more like you than i thought because i don't really think i have a special talent. but unlike you i probably won't find one because i am REALLY shy. i don't know how i'll get through school. your my favorite baseball player and always will be! please mention me!!!
-your biggest fan, jordan

It's Coach Shack----just wanted to let you know that I am so proud of what you have done since you left the halls of West Brook High School---even more proud when you threw the benefit for David.
Sorry I didn't make the games when you were in Houston----it seems that volleyball still takes up all my time.
Jacqueline was at the Houston game when you made the DIVING catch---she was on a date so she didn't come say hi!!!
Keep in touch---SHawn
