Erling Haaland has a brutal response to Roy Keane’s ‘League 2 level’ comment after ground-breaking performance against Wolves

Do wolves concern themselves with the opinion of sheep? Erling Haaland had a brutal response to his critics following a mind-blowing poker against Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday. The Norwegian was firing on all cylinders as Manchester City tightened their grasp on the League title yet again.

His four-goal display and subsequent clap-back at Roy Keane has set football X on fire. Flashback to April 1st, when Haaland struggled against Arsenal in a 0-0 draw. The abysmal outing against the Gunners was followed by Roy Keane labeling the City No.9’s general play to be at the level of a League Two striker!

Fast forward to his four-goal show against Wolves, Haaland was asked about his response to the same. The forward did not pull his punches as he gave an honest response to Keane.

I really don't care about that man. Erling Haaland said in a post-match interview

Following his poker, Haaland is now sitting on a five-goal lead in the Golden Boot race.

Erling Haaland ‘back to business’ for City, claims Pep Guardiola

Manchester City took a huge step towards the Premier League title with an emphatic 5-1 win against Wolves. With just 3 games left to play, Man City are on 82 points and just one point behind the Gunners. Following Erling Haaland‘s impressive display, Pep Guardiola couldn’t hide his excitement at the striker finding his form.

Erling is back to business. Penalties are a guarantee but the second and fourth were unbelievable. To come to his best form, he needs time. Pep Guardiola said in a post-match interview

Guardiola also spoke of his team’s chances to lift the cup, as he pointed to three wins in three as the ideal outcome. Anything less than that and Arsenal take home the Premier League.

Guardiola also ruled out winning the title on goal difference as the Gunners enjoy a positive margin of six goals when compared to the Cityzens. Pep also confirmed his hopes of having their destiny in their own hands by the time they play West Ham United on the final matchday on the 19th of May. City face Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur prior to the showdown vs West Ham.
