Getafe coach Bordalas says European qualification will be a bonus

Getafe coach Jose Bordalas says European qualification will be a bonus this season.

Getafe secured Primera safety last week and now are in the frame for the European places.

Ahead of facing Athletic Bilbao, Bordalas said: "We are going to try to be as high as possible, we are focused on tomorrow's game, which is a difficult game and trying to win it.

"I am convinced that we have prepared it well. With the help of our fans who always have an outstanding response and it is fundamental, they are the foundations of the team and they will help us and they will be with the team.

"From there we will see how far we are able to go, we have no goal, we have to go step by step and the first obstacle is Athletic."
